In search of something special.

I've spent most of my adult life in pursuit.

Of a dream, a place, a person, a goal, a feeling, an adventure.

It wasn't always obvious it would be this way. I was a shy, timid, apprehensive kid. I hold the high distinction of being the only child ever expelled from a school in the UK specifically designed to settle anxious children.

Yet somehow, and I won't pretend it was all my fault, this cautious kid didn't just develop in the pursuit of adventure, but thrived in it.

At 21 I moved from Australia to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. In the process I met a beautiful young woman and pursued her, 12 years later my wife and I are working towards a family.

I've traveled to the high Arctic to track the mighty polar bear and I've sailed to the Antarctic to gaze upon magnificent monoliths of ice. I've been to every state in the US, and every continent on Earth.

Sometimes camera in hand, sometimes not.

But always in search of something special.
